I love the idea, but to touch 300+ kids we would have to have our whole regular meeting club do an hour a piece for 6 hours to do it.
If we can get small groups possibly, we may be able to get some ideas out.  But I feel this isn't doing what we need.
 
Are you planning on being at the meeting?

Hi Blaze,

I talked to Sue Hendrix who is the Head Start teacher at Chrisman and she put me into contact with the Family Service Worker, Teresa, who explained that the biggest need they would like to have is volunteers.  People who will come in and read books, possibly provide a food experience for the children during the parent meeting that is held monthly.  The food experience could be something like bring ingredients for the kids to make a healthy snack, like chex mix or pretty much anything.
