Kiwanis Club of Paris

One day an American woman was walking her dog along a river in Germany.   Suddenly from nowhere,  a gang appeared behind her.  They did not hurt her.  However, they only grabbed her dog and threw it in the water.  The dog started to drown.   A kind German man came along at about that time.  He jumped into the water, and brought the dog to shore. 
"Thank you for saving my dog!"  cried the woman happily.  "Are you a vet?" 
The German replied, "Of course I am vet, I've just been in the vater!"

There are Six Objects of Kiwanis International:

Object #5:  To provide through Kiwanis Clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.

Object #6:  To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism  and good will.
